Humanize writing tools
Word Frequency Counter
Paste your text to see repeated words. Compare an edited version if you want. Counts are calculated in this page without calling an AI model.
Your text and word lists stay in this page. No AI model is called. We count fixed tool actions for usage statistics, never your text. Use Clear to remove your input and results.

How the counter works
Words contain Latin letters and may include internal apostrophes, such as “don’t.” Curly apostrophes are normalized. Hyphenated words are split; numbers, punctuation and non-Latin scripts are excluded. Accented letters use Unicode NFC normalization. This is not a Chinese tokenizer and does not combine word stems.
Percentages use all parsed words, including words hidden by your ignore list. Each text in a comparison has its own denominator. A change from 20% to 25% is +5 percentage points. Values are rounded to two decimals, so displayed percentages may not sum to exactly 100%.
Single-text results sort by count, then alphabetically; comparisons sort alphabetically. CSV and copied tables include every result row. Counts can help you notice repetition, but are not an AI-detection result or a writing-quality score.
